Happy New Year! This is going to be a good one, I'm pretty sure of it! Keep on with what you believe in, and push push push those boundaries!!!
This afternoon I'm learning my way around Prezi... a presentation tool. It's not really 'my thing' so hence the learning! I'm looking forward to mixing hand created stuff with photos and movies all in one package, I hope it will have a nice impact on my next PR. Oh, and this video gave me a bit of courage after a hard time trying to connect with the generation above today... Big love x " Are we too many? No We are too stupid, our design is not good. " ...not as good as ants. Straight to the point!!! A quick introduction into the paradigm shift needed now, in terms of closing the circle on our waste. See the talk here.
a strange experience today, I think because of not being to shops in so long, getting most food from the garden, going to the supermarket didn't give me that feeling of wanting or hunger, at all. I guess it's all the packets etc nothing really seemed like food. I used to feel an excitement about the supermarket, especially when I was smaller. (I think that more people than would care to admit feel a feeling of excitement or comfort in supermarkets.) But the more nutrition books I read, the more films I see and the more I experience growing and eating fresh food, the more strange I feel walking these isles. That's on a personal level...not even the political stuff!
I've been getting to know the different places that I can get my local food from, it means going to more effort but it's very much worth it, taste, nutrient and feeling-wise. So here's to real food. To plants! And on this subject here are some GREAT films to watch...you could even do that whilst eating something scrumptious...there couldn't be an easier way to get informed..
This series animated talks are informative and accessable, I love this one, The Empathic Civilisation.
